This solves the issues of warping and leaking that affect the standard item, and acts as a heat-soak to reduce oil temps.
It's made to match OEM dimensions right down to the original factory size hex nut.
With much improved heat conductivity over the plastic original, it significantly helps with gearbox oil cooling.
The DSG Filter Housing still accepts the factory gearbox oil filter to maintain simplicity and keep that OEM fitment for your future oil changes.
